Scott Millwood

Scott Millwood, CEO

After fifteen years of leadership in small and mid-size high tech companies Scott has developed a good sense of what works in building solutions and satisfying customers. As Microsoft Dynamics CRM came to market at the end of 2002, Scott recognized that CRM had reached a tipping point in the evolution of making significant productivity gains possible for mid-size sales, marketing and service teams. Customer Effective was founded as a complementary evolution for the deployment of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Prior to Customer Effective Scott was an executive with Datastream Systems (NASDAQ:DSTM) where he helped grow revenue from $15 million to over $120 million in six years. Previously he was with Harbinger Corporation, a pioneer in electronic commerce and PowerCerv, an e-business applications provider. Scott graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Economics and Georgia State University with a Masters in Business Administration.

 

Michael Elliott

Michael Elliott, COO

With 15 years experience in both Professional Services and Sales, Michael has an excellent perspective on the needs of both sales and service organizations. Prior to Customer Effective Michael spent 13 years with Datastream Systems where he served in a variety of positions including Vice President of Professional Services and founding Sales Director of a start-up vertical market. As Vice President of Professional Services, Michael grew the organization from 8 consultants to over 75 in four years. During that time Michael developed a comprehensive consulting methodology and training program that helped customers better understand project objectives and deliverables. Michael has led the implementation of more than 300 enterprise systems. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a double major in Economics and Finance. Michael completed an MBA from the University of South Carolina with a concentration in Service Operations Management.

  

Mike Rogers

Mike Rogers, VP Business Development and Marketing

 

Mike brings over 11 years of enterprise software sales experience to the Customer Effective team. He participates in all aspects of business development for Customer Effective including strategic partnerships, marketing, and sales.  His approach to building long term partnerships, developing new offerings, and working closely with customers has allowed Customer Effective to provide clients with an extensive CRM technology portfolio. Prior to Customer Effective, Mike spent four years at Datastream Systems as a successful Account Executive managing a large Canadian territory. He graduated cum laude with a BS in Business Administration from The Citadel. Originally from Northern Virginia, he now resides in Greenville, SC.

 

 

Maverick Garrett

Maverick Garrett, VP Development

Maverick has over  17 years in information systems and development.  Before joining the Customer Effective team in 2009, he worked as an IT manager with Datastream Systems for 10 years managing internal systems and a world wide rollout of a CRM system. From there, Maverick went on to serve as the CTO for ClearCheck , a financial services company that focused on collections for major retailers. During the 4 years at ClearCheck,  he was able to lead a team of developers that built an industry leading web based collection platform. The company was eventually sold to First Data, a fortune 100 company where Maverick stayed on as a consultant for the next 2 years.  Maverick’s experience in large scale system deployment and development of CRM and financial systems provide a solid fit for the services that Customer Effective provides.

 

Chris Rogers

Chris Rogers, Chief Architect

A seasoned architect, developer, and consultant, Chris has over 15 years of experience in blending an array of tools and technologies to create effective software solutions for companies large and small across a spectrum of industries. Before joining Customer Effective, Chris served as Manager of Internet Products for Engineering Intent, a supplier of knowledge-based engineering software and services to the engineer-to-order marketplace. For eight years prior to that, he was Founder and President of Cartesia, Inc., a consulting company providing custom solutions in engineering design automation, web-based applications development, and Windows software construction and integration. Chris earned his MS in Computer Science from Stanford University and his BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
